Mullein and marshmallow work to protect the integrity of your lung tissue by keeping your mucus membranes moist (don’t forget that your mucus membranes are where your antibodies hang out!). Ginger, peppermint, & thyme offer aromatic antibacterial support–with ginger and Thyme being warming, Peppermint cooling. Licorice root adds antiviral benefits while also supporting respiratory health.
RESPIRATORY SUPPORT TEA BLEND
1 part mullein leaf
1 part ginger root
½ part marshmallow root
½ part peppermint leaf
½ part thyme
½ part licorice root
This tea is best used for lung support for Fallt to help keep your breathing channels clear.
Directions:
Step 1 Heaping Tbsp. for every 8 oz of hot water for 10-20 minutes. Feel free to sweeten! Drink 2-3 cups/day.
